An E-mail I received tonight

Greetings Downtowners: Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 21, 2008, Presidential Candidate Barack Obama will be holding a rally at our Bicentennial Park , located at 1075 Biscayne Blvd. The rally will begin at 6:00pm until 8:00pm. 20,000 to 40,000 people are expected to attend therefore you can expect traffic delays in our Downtown Area. The delays can start as early as 3:00pm., and may continue to well after 10:00pm. Also keep in mind that the Miami Heat will be having a game starting at 7:30pm. There are currently no plans to close any streets. Please find alternate routes in and out of Downtown, avoid using major streets and avenues. Residents will be assisted in and out of their buildings. Officers have been advised to allow residents in and out of their buildings.

He is going to jam up my neighborhood tomorrow as he hangs out down the street from me with all those adoring O'bama fans that can't see past his eloquence. I think I will go on down there and just listen to what he has to say just for kicks since I can walk to that park from my apartment.

Like Fat Albert says, "be careful or you might learn something"

OK it was Bill Cosby on Fat Albert, but you get the point.

That is crappy about them closing downtown.
